Director of Tennis
JASON ZOLADZ
OTC’s founding Director of Tennis and Head Tennis Professional has been playing tennis for most of his life. Jason held a number one ranking in juniors in his home state of New Jersey and went on to play college tennis at Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC. Jason has won several awards over his career including Coach of the Year and USTA Southern Section Educational Merit Award. Jason is an Elite Professional within the USPTA and has been teaching tennis to all ages and levels for 20+ years.

Jake Wolfe
Jake Wolfe has been competing in tennis since he was a child. he had a successful high school career with 3 all conference honors and an all region honor. He continues to compete at the 4.5 level within USTA and is a WTT National Champion. Jake is also a middle school math teacher when he isn’t on the courts. Jakes patience and understanding of the game work perfectly together with his teaching skills to make him an excellent Tennis Professional.
Lisa Baker
Lisa joined the OTC team in 2022. She has always had a passion for tennis and competed in highschool and tournament play. She now enjoys watching her children play and compete. You will find Lisa on the courts teaching and participating in the OTC adult classes. Lisa has taught all 3 of her children to love and play tennis and she looks forward to getting many other kids hooked to this lifetime sport!
Steve Haine
Steve is a great addition to the OTC team and has been playing tennis since high school. Playing at the 4.0 level, he has enjoyed playing in USTA leagues for decades. He teaches health and PE and works with athletes after school in sports medicine. After 20 years of coaching lacrosse and soccer, he’s now really enjoying turning his attention to OTC members on the courts!
Barry Gooch
Barry grew up playing tennis with his father, who taught him just about everything that keeps him going on the court. After a 25 year hiatus from playing junior tennis, Barry picked up a racquet again during COVID and rekindled his love for the game. Barry now plays competitive USTA adult tennis on both teams and in tournaments. Barry has both an impressive game and a great teaching style.
John Pelphrey
John has been with OTC part time for several years. He was essential to the formation of our club and is an excellent tennis pro. Playing for most of his life and now teaching his son to love the game, tennis has always been a big part of John’s life for him and his family. John has a very calm and technical teaching style, come to one of his classes and check it out!
Nik Ellis
Nik grew up playing tennis in the Durham area and is excited to be a part of OTC. Nik played high school level tennis and has been a welcome addition to the OTC team. Nik brings his fun loving and laid back attitude to the courts and always leaves the kids smiling!
Lindy Naden
Lindy has been a long time OTC member and loves the game of tennis. She has competed on several USTA teams and has had plenty of success taking some of those teams to states on multiple occasions! Lindy looks forward to bringing her passion for the game to the kids on the courts.
