Orange Tennis Club is a non-profit (501(c)3 status pending), community based organization set out to grow tennis in Orange County and surrounding areas. We offer programs for all ages and all skill levels. We offer lessons, clinics, camps, socials, tournaments and everything else tennis for ALL ages and skill levels. We currently operate out of Cedar Ridge High School in Hillsborough, NC. Contact us to learn more and help us grow this lifetime sport.
Our main goal is to grow and promote tennis and all its positive aspects. Some of the things we plan to do include:
* Run more extensive tennis programming for all ages, abilities and levels
* Offer half-day summer camps, for all ages and skill levels
* Organize tournaments, socials, mixers and challenge ladders
* Coordinate USTA league play
* Support our local mens & womens high school tennis teams, in a number of ways, and promote junior tennis
* Offer the tennis opportunity to those that might not otherwise be able to play
Our non-profit group, Orange Tennis Club, Inc. has been officially incorporated. We are working with an attorney to complete our 501(c)3 status.
We are also finalizing a written agreement, and have already reached a verbal agreement, with the Orange County School system to offer tennis programs at Cedar Ridge High School. Our start date for this is June 10th. The non-profit group will be funded through membership packages, lessons, clinics, special events and alot more. We will offer extensive programming for all skill levels and ages, with many more class options. Many more details to follow soon!
Our ultimate long-term goal is to build our own facility in northern Orange County. Orange Tennis Club, Inc. will operate out of Cedar Ridge High School, for now, and we are excited to have this opportunity.
